Ross T. DiLoreto, M.A., L.M.H.C.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, #MH21867

Ross has earned a Master of Arts degree with High Distinction in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.  He is a current member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).

Ross has a strong desire to help people by meeting them where they are at in their life, listening to their concerns, and working collaboratively with them toward self-improvement and problem resolution. He has experience in working with a range of client difficulties including anxiety and depression, anger, addictions, stress management, guilt and shame, decision-making, adjustment issues, bereavement, and other mental health and life concerns. He utilizes cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and other empirically supported treatment modalities. However, each client’s treatment is tailored to their individual needs.

Ross’ philosophy is that a counseling relationship between a counselor and client is a professional relationship in which the counselor assists the client in exploring and dealing with difficult life issues. He believes in a collaborative approach and will work with each client toward reaching their goals. Ross follows a wellness model of mental health where the goal is to achieve positive mental health to the degree it is possible. It is his desire to come alongside those that he is helping and encourage them to take the walk toward personal growth. He looks forward to working with you.
