Katie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Florida, and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
As a previous teacher for students with learning differences, Katie has a passion for working with children, adolescents, and individuals struggling with life’s difficulties including anxiety, depression, learning disorders, and struggles adjusting to change. With a focus in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Katie strives to tailor each client’s treatment plan to their individual needs.
Katie believes that the counseling relationship is of utmost importance which is why she strives for a collaborative, understanding, and open space with all of her clients. It would be her pleasure to work alongside anyone to help them achieve personal growth and joy.
