Life can change in an instant. Unexpected life events and unforeseen circumstances can shake the very foundation of our lives and shatter our illusions of control. A multitude of unanticipated events can negatively impact our lives, destroy our sense of safety, impair our mental health, and complicate our interpersonal relationships. Many times, families and friends struggle to provide the support and direction we need during the turbulent seasons of life. It takes strength and courage to reach out for help but the benefits of taking that risk can lead to new insight, personal growth, and a renewed sense of purpose.

When life is overwhelming it is important to have a place where you feel safe enough to process thoughts, feelings, and reactions to the circumstances that have impacted your life. After years of consulting and providing training in the healthcare industry, Lorrie realized that she could utilize her knowledge and life experiences to assist others in their healing journeys.

Having been in private practice for over five years, Lorrie strives to create a warm, calm, and relaxing environment. She believes trust and confidentiality are imperative foundational elements to achieve therapeutic gains and utilizes integrative therapeutic approaches to develop effective, individualized treatment plans in working with her clients.

Lorrie has special interests in assisting others to navigate unanticipated life events and unforeseen circumstances; personal growth and transformation; and the emerging field of integrating psychotherapy with personal finances.  She has assisted women who might be pregnant, worried and unsure of their next steps to address their frustrations and concerns, and explore their possible options.
