Larry has a Master’s Degree in Religious Education from Loyola University in New Orleans and a Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. A retired Army Combat Engineer officer with decorated service in Vietnam, Larry also worked as a journalist, earning several awards for his writing. In addition to his skills as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Larry is also a Commissioned Lay Chaplain under the Special Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy of the Anglican Church of North America and an oblate of the Order of Saint Martin of Tours. He is also a state approved supervisor for Registered Mental Health Interns.

Larry’s counseling strengths and interests include: biblical and spiritual guidance; military issues, including career and retirement issues, combat trauma (PTSD) and personal relationships; general relationship issues including marriage and dating; adolescents; young adults; and parenting and life transitions, such as grief, divorce, empty nest syndrome, and remarriage.

Larry is certified to administer Myers Briggs (Step I and Step II) and MMPI-2-RF. He is also a Prepare-Enrich facilitator. Larry and his wife, Frances, have three adult children and seven grandchildren. They live in Orange Park and are members of Grace Anglican Church on Fleming Island.
