Margaret Rose Glenn was born while her father was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She is an “Army brat” and has traveled this country and the world extensively. She has practiced social work since 1988. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (University of Georgia, 1970) and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work (Florida State University, 1988). She has 20 years of experience in outpatient mental health and 15 years of hospice experience as a social worker. 

Margaret Rose has an interest in the use of art in healing and she received a Certificate in Art and Healing from the Ringling College of Art and Design upon completion of a 3-year program there. She is an Expressive Arts Therapist. 

Margaret Rose has a passion for treating trauma and she is a Certified EMDR Therapist. She continues to advance in her training in EMDR to maintain current certification. She has found EMDR to be a very effective treatment for all kinds of traumatic experiences, and most clients who receive EMDR will find relief of symptoms caused by trauma. 

Margaret Rose has had recent training in I-CBT (Inferential Based CBT), which is a treatment for the intrusive thinking caused by OCD. 

Margaret Rose has years of experience working with the elderly, with caregivers, and with those who are bereaved due to her years in both hospice care and in geriatric mental health.

Margaret Rose has familiarity with issues of adoption, particularly those of adoptees and of adoptive parents. 

Margaret Rose has a special concern for military personnel and their families. She is able to work with them on a variety of issues, including PTSD, military sexual trauma, marital issues, and other situations related to the military lifestyle.
